Their children are 191211 Maggie Mayfield, 191212 John Chester Mayfield, 191213 Annie Gordon Mayfield, 191214 Marion Victoria May­field,191215 Mable Earle Mayfield, and 191216 Aubrey Wil­liam Mayfield. Annie Gordon Mayfield Parke (191213), No. 9, Coronado Circle, La Marque, Texas 77568 gave me (WRC) information about the 19121 family. Rhoda was a home­maker; Alexander was a storekeeper. Stokes will, at Chester County Courthouse, Chester, South Carolina, Bk C, P 219, Sept 1895, File 165, Pkg 1133, p 1e9 in WPA book 1886-1908, names three children: William W. Stokes, Rhoda H. Stokes, and Dora
M. Stokes. The will was made 4 Jan 1890. A paper dated 3 Jan 1896 gave Rhoda Stokes Mayfield and Dora Stokes Kirk­patrick.
