She was buried at Llanthony by Glouccster... He died v.p., at Beeston Castle, co. Chester, 27 October 1265 (c), and was buried in Combermere Abbey (d). [Complete Peerage VI:462-3, XIV:381, (transcribed by Dave Utzinger)](n) They had restitution of the lands of Walter (Marshal), Earl of Pembroke, and of the lands of William de Briouze 15 Feb 1247/8, the other coheirs mentioned being Maud, wife of Roger de Mortimer, and Eve, wife of William de Cauntelo, to whom came the lordship of Abergavenny, while Eleanor inherited Brecknock and Hay. No mention is made in the Patent Roll of the other coheir, Isabel, who m. David ap Llywellyn and afterwards Piers FitzHerbert. On 24 Feb 1251/2 appears also a commission for the partition of the lands of William de Briouze to his 3 daughters and coheirs.(c) Vigil of SS Simon and Jude after the battle of Evesham.(d) An IPM taken 51 Hen III shows Humphrey, his son and heir by Eleanor, as heir to Hay and Huntingdon castles, &c, co. Hereford. On 12 Nov 1265 Humphrey de Bohun, Earl of Hereford and Essex, and his heirs had a grant of manors in cos. Gloucester, Huntingdon, and Essex, which the Earl by fine had granted to Humphrey de Bohun, his son and heir, to hold to his death to him and his heirs by Joan, daughter of Robert de Quincy, his wife, and which appertained to the King by reason of the trespass and forfeiture which Humphrey made against the King and his son Edward, in adhering to Simon de Montfort, sometime Earl of Leicester, and his partisans, the King's enemies.
