    George Bartram Dies

    George L. Bartram, 713 Sylvan St., a resident of Emporia for the past 15 years, died Monday afternoon in Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.

    Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel. They will be conducted by the Rev. Palmer Temple, pastor of the Methodist Church in Perry. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

    Mr. Bartram the son of Ralph and Mae Dick Bartram, was born Feb. 22, 1922 in Allen. He was a member of the Christian Church. He is survived by his parents and one brother, Ralph Dean Bartram of Allen, and one sister, Mrs. Ernest Dilley, 1012 Grand Street.

    Funeral Services for George L. Bartram, 713 Sylvan St., who died Monday in Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, were held Thursday afternoon in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel. They were conducted by the Rev. Palmer Temple, Pastor of the Methodist Church in Perry. Fletcher Helton sang, accompanied by Mrs. Robert Plummer. Pallbearers were J.D. Wheat, E.W. Fredericksen, G.G. Humphreys Jr., James C. Harris, Virgil Taber and W.J. Garrett Jr. Burial was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

    Out-of-town relatives who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bartram and Dean, Allen; Mrs. John P. Hoy, Fort Riley; Ella Hankins, Denver, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Dick and Mrs. M.C. Loggans, Wichita; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Green, Perry; Florence Dick, Ruth Davis and Helen Nowlin, Osage City, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dick, Des Moines, Iowa.
