Notes about Ulysses S Grant Dick [Wk FwkBusterBu]

<http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/yl.2ADI/96.1>Message Board Post:Don't know about the Thrower family but Abel is familair enough. You've stumbled into the Dick family. In 1865 three dick brothers (William Henry Harrison Dick, Christopher Columbus Dick and Ulysses S. Grant Dick) moved from Pulaski County Kentucky. The traveled with the Angel family (I kid you not) to Jeff County. Two Angel women married two of the Dick brothers (CC and US Grant). Every year at the community hall in Perry, KS is held the "Dick-Angel" reunion. Seems to me that the Abels are in W.H.H. Dick's line. My grandmother is the granddaughter of WHH, and she has cousin's that are Abels (I think). Her father's (Milton Herbert Dick) sister married an Abel.Write me and maybe I can ask my Grandma. Some Iowa relatives compiled an enormous book of the Dick line, (the thing is professionally bound and is 3 " thick). Abels are in the DIck line I'm positive.
