Mathel Eva Wesley, 88, of Hwy 1676 in Science Hill, Kentucky passed away Saturday May 23, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Pulaski Co. Kentucky on August 19, 1920 daughter of the late Albin Dee and Lou Vada (Shadoan) Irvine. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith. She is survived by her daughter Carmileta "Carmie" & (Al) Beschman of Science Hill, Kentucky, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Jackson "Sam" Wesley, her parents, three sons, Rothel "Rod" Wesley, Delbert Donald Wesley and Verthel David Wesley, two brothers, Esker Preston Irvine and Edsel Ermine Irvine, two sisters, Elfreida Irvine Hall and Thelma Eva Irvine Whiles. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday May 27, 2009 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
