George who died at what is presently the age of majority is only presently known and remembered by his grave monument which indicates the name, the date of death of August 17, 1825 at age 18 years and includes the useful bit of kinship that this young man was the eldest son of John and Catharine Kennedy. The location of the grave of his mother is unknown but George's remains were joined by those of Hannah Kennedy, his presumed little sister and then much later by his father and on the other side by his sister Margaret Kennedy Woods.

The birth and death locations are imputed from the family's home situated in the town of Chester, from a date early in its history of existence as an entity. However it is clear that the location of death could be even outside the county depending on unknown factors.

The date of birth is not the date given, but any date no more than 365 thereafter if the information on the monument for this young man is accurate.
