Note: Adrian Journal, Thursday, Sept 1, 1927. Mrs. E.A. Coleman dead. Mrs. Eliza Ann Coleman died at the home of her son, Robert Coleman, in Grand River Township, Sunday, August 28, 1927; aged 76 yrs, 5 months and 12 days. Eliza Ann Hutcherson was born in North Carolina March 15, 1851. She came to Missouri in early life and many years resided in Bates County, where she was held in high esteem by all who knew her. Mrs. Coleman is survived by 5 children. Funeral services for Mrs. Coleman were held Monday at 2 o'clock p.m. from the Adrain Christian Church, conducted by Elder A.H. Pfost, of Drexel. Burial was made in the Crescent Hill cemetery.
