Chas. Kitterlin, aged 54, one of the old and respected citizens of the
Harrisonburg community, died at his home in that city late Sunday afternoon
after suffering for several months from an ailment supposed to have been
bright's disease.

Mr. Kitterlin, who was an employee of the Tensas Delta Land Company, was
considered an expert on the geography of Catahoula and LaSalle parishes. It
is said that no man knew better the various geographical lines of the two
parishes and that his death will be regretted by a host of friends which
border almost every town in the State of Louisiana.

The funeral services were held in the Harrisonburg Cemetery at noon Monday.
Rev. R. V. Fullerton, officiating. Besides his wife, Mr. Kitterlin leaves
three sons, Felix, Walter and Luther and one daughter, Miss Mattie to survive
him.
