By virtue of an order issued from the ninth judicial District Court, parish of Rapides, and directed to the Sheriff thereof, will be sold on the premises to the highest bidder on Saturday the 9th day of December next, 1865, the following described property, to-wit: A certain tract or parcel of land situated in the pinewoods in said parish, on Little River, known as the LaCroix tract and being the last residence of deceased, and containing the quantity of six hundred and forty acres together with all the improvements thereon.
