Gronauseweg Beschrijving: Grensweg tussen de Noord- en Zuid-Esmarke van de Lipperkerkstraat tot de rijksgrens. Geschiedenis: Naar de stad Gronau in de Bondsrepubliek Duitsland (14 augustus 1889 en 27 april 1899 oud-Enschede, en 10 oktober 1929 voormalig Lonneker). Bij raadsbesluit van 23 juni 1913 is het in oud-Enschede gelegen gedeelte bij de Gronausestraat gevoegd; de bij raadsbesluit van 10 oktober 1929 door voormalig Lonneker vastgestelde Gronauseweg, lopende van de oude grens Enschede-Lonneker tot de Slankweg, is op 29 mei 1936 eveneens bij de Gronausestraat gevoegd. Het overige gedeelte is door voormalig Lonneker op 10 oktober 1929 "Rijksweg" genoemd.
