Theodorus Cornelis Verkleij, (1825-1900) became a partner with Petrus Klaverweide Sr. and lived in a villa in the Rijpwetering. The marriage was in the Groenedijk, officiated by Pastor Johannes bernardus Wesselingh.
Theodorus was the organist from 1842, (at age 17), to 1879.
Theodorus started the first family tree book, beautifully written by hand. A lot of valuable information from that book is included in this program.
He drove around in a buggy to inspect babtismal records. The civil code was introduced under Napoleon in 1804.
He moved to Haarlem on the first of May 1882 to the Paviljoenslaan 11.
He died in Haarlem and is buried in the cemetery St Barbara.
Their sons Cornelis and Nicolaas, continued the cheese business later on.
Their fifth child Petrus, 1861-1942, later took over the Farm"Bouwlust" from his uncle.
