(Burgerbew. 1799; GA Den Helder, inv. no 148 GA Den Helder). In 1811 was hij schipper postvaartuigen (lijst zeelieden 1811). Sedert 1812 was hij zeeloods en had 4 kinderen (inv GA Den Helder 159 no 50 ).
