In deze boerderij werden de eerste 9 kinderen geboren en daar bleven zij wonen tot het moment dat hun oudste dochter ging trouwen met Huib Hendrikse in 1895. Het gezin Cornelis Kempenaar en Clazina Cats verhuisden toen naar boerderij 'Weltevreden', waarop de moeder van Cornelis Kempenaar, Aagje Treur, overleden was en waarop zijn vader gestopt was met 'boeren' (bron Wim K.). Deze boerderij staat in de 'laagte' van de Vierambachtspolder nabij de woonkern Langeraar van de gemeente Ter Aar.
