Zoon van Hendrik van den Corput en Adriana van Bregt, geboren te Breda 30 Januarij 1569. Hij was achtereenvolgens predikant te Westmaas, Papendrecht, Breda en Dordrecht. Ook als conrector was hij ter laatstgenoemde stede werkzaam. Vgl. Schotel, Illustre School te Dordrecht, 31 vlg. Hij overleed 6 October 1599. Dat hij te Heidelberg studeerde was bekend.
