    Je was voor ons een lieve en zorgzame moeder, die altijd voor ons klaar stond. Door al je goede zorgen voor ons en voor vader was je de spil in ons gezin. De laatste jaren veranderde er veel voor jou, helaas waren deze laatste jaren vol ongemak, en steeds kwam er weer iets bij. Langzaam werd het lopen minder, steeds vaker en langer zat je in de rolstoel. De laatste tijd sprak je steeds minder, wel bleef je altijd naar onze verhalen luisteren.
    De laatste weken had je moeite met slikken, waardoor je niet meer zoals vroeger van het eten kon genieten. Ondanks dit bleef je jouw humoristische kijk op het leven behouden, hier konden we samen ontzettend om lachten. Je bleef van de kleine dingen in het leven genieten. Een bosje bloemen liet je gezicht al stralen, je genoot van de vogels in de tuin. Je was altijd blij om ons te zien, en als we vroegen hoe het met je ging, dan was het tot het laatste toe altijd 'goed'. Wij zijn dan ook dankbaar dat wij je hebben mogen begeleiden in je laatste levensdagen.
    Je was een geweldige moeder. Mama bedankt voor alles.
    Wij danken u voor uw steun en medeleven rond het overlijden van moeder. Tevens gaat onze dank uit naar het personeel van Norbertushof voor de goede verzorging van moeder.
