    Zij werd geboren te Nijmegen 19 augustus 1899. Zij ging van ons heen, gesterkt door het Heilig Sacrament van de zieken, 21 juli 1990, in Huize St.-Joachim en Anna te Nijmegen.
    In het leven van een mens wisselen zon en schaduwzijden elkaar af. Het leven immers heeft zijn vreugde, zorgen en verdriet. Dit heeft ook moeder en oma ondervonden.
    Zij was een goede, zorgvolle echtgenote, een lieve moeder en een fijne oma voor de kleinkinderen. Sterk leefde zij mee met het wel en wee van hen. Altijd bereid te helpen. Ze kreeg daarvoor de naam "vliegende hollander".
    Haar leven kende ook schaduwzijden, de crisis en de oorlogsjaren. Het meeste verdriet deed haar het vroegtijdig heengaan van haar man. Dat deed haar veel pijn. De zorg werd groot: alleen staan voor de opvoeding van 8 kinderen. Hierdoor is zij geworden een sterke, een wijze, sterke vrouw.
    Heel veel steun mocht zij gelukkig ondervinden van haar dochter Leny, vooral echter van de Heer zelf. Hij heeft haar de nodige moed en kracht gegeven de moeilijkheden te verwerken en van alle mooie dingen oprecht te genieten.
    Voor ruim 3 jaren werd haar gezondheid minder.
    Zij kwam naar Huize St.-Joachim en Anna. Hier werd zij vol zorg en liefde verzorgd en verpleegd.
    Op 21 juli 1990 was haar levenskaars opgebrand. De Heer nodigde haar uit 'Antonetta kom maar naar Mij. Je plaats is gereed. Je man en Leny wachten reeds op je". Haar antwoord was' Ja, Heer, ik kom gaarne'.
    Tot ons zou ze zeggen 'Jullie bedanken mij, maar ik zeg tegen jullie allen; heel, heel, veel bedankt.
    Op 24 juli hadden wij haar tijdens een Eucharistieviering in de kapel van Huize St.-Joachim en Anna voor het laatst in ons midden.
    Wij bedanken de goede God, dat zij zo lang te midden van ons mocht blijven en voor alles wat zij voor ons gedaan en betekend heeft.
    Daarna begeleidden wij haar naar het r.k.-kerkhof aan de Groenestraat. Hier vertrouwden wij haar lichaam toe aan de aarde, waar zij met haar man en met Leny wacht op het teken van de opstanding.
    Voor uw medeleven betuigen wij u onze oprechte dank.
    Kinderen, kleinkinderen en achterkleinkind.
