Ze hadden vroeger een klein sigarenwinkeltje in Valkenburg gelegen aan de Lindenlaan nabij de Franse Molen. dit winkeltje was slechts enkele weken per jaar open als ze met vakantie gingen. Party Centrum de Kolenkit, (Aan de bar hing een eeuwenoude Kerkklok, Waar die van daan kwam?) Maar anno 2020 besloot de gemeente Purmerend deze hele hoek (Het Slotplein) te gaan veranderen. de Panden zullen worden gesloopt en er komt nieuwbouw te staan. Het einde van het pand van het Kegel & Partycentrum de Kolenkit..20-06-2021 De sloophamer is er door heen gegaan de boel ligit plat, weer één stuk famillie geschiedenis vernietigig.d En alleen nog maar in de archieven is terug te vinden R.I.P. kegel en Party Centrum de Kolenekit!
