Hello,

Wow ... another one tied to Sir Edward Bathurst...!

Golly gee whiz! Doesn't anyone do original research anymore?

Sir Edward Bathurst 1st Baronet Bathurst had two sons ... and no daughters...!

1. Robert baptized 21 Mar 1638 then died 26 Nov 1640, and buried 27 Nov 1640 in the Lechlade Parish Church - he was 2 years and 8 months old.

2. Laurence baptized 21 Mar 1638 thence died 15 Sep 1671 (three years before his father). He married Susan Cook (not the Virginia Cooke family) in London 9 Feb 1657 in the Saint Clement Danes parish Church, Westminster, London, England - Susan was TEN years his senior...!

They had one son - Laurence Bathurst Jr. born 1665 thence died 21 Mar 1677 at age 12 years.

With the death of twelve year old Sir Laurence Bathurst Jr., 2nd Baronet of Bathurst on March 21, 1677 at Lechlade Gloucestershire, the Baronets of Bathurst went extinct...!

And the repercussions are ... you do not have an ancestor in the Bathurst family in England you can validate...!
