Leven en werk

Martien Postema studeerde theologie en was doopsgezind predikant te Itens en Baard (1957), Warns en Koudum (1963), te Arnhem (1966-1974) en te Middelburg, Vlissingen en Goes (1979). Hij was lid van de liederenbundelcommissie der Doopsgezinde Broederschap. Postema schreef naast kerkliederen een boek over Menno Simons, enkele poppen-, kerst- en passiespelen en de musical Een luis in de pels over Menno Simons.
