De Heilige-Geestmeesters van De Lier verwerven in 1485 door aankoop van Symon Gielisz. 4,5 morgen land aan deZouteveenseweg, gemeen met Pieter Gielisz.‘s erfgenamen, Cornelis Gielisz., Dirck Doesz., Claes Coppie Arntsz. en ClaesDircxz.
Het lijkt aannemelijk te veronderstellen, dat hier de kinderen en schoonzoons van een verder onbekende Gielis wordenopgesomd. Dat wordt op interessante wijze bevestigd door het bewaard gebleven memorieregister van de kerk te Den Lier,waar Dirck Doesz. met zijn familie is terug te vinden.
Dirck Doesz., waarschijnlijk zoon van Doe Claesz. en Ymme, was gehuwd met Marigen Gillis.
Hij heeft een broer, Heer Jan Doesz. terwijl zijn kinderen Jan, Gilis en Doe heten.
Gielis N.N. moet in ieder geval voor 1485 zijn overleden.

Indien Gillis Symonsz., schout van Vlaardingen in 1514 en schepen in 1522/237), een nakomeling is van zijn zoon Symon,zou Gielis N.N. rond 1395/1400 geboren zijn. Immers Gillis Symonsz. was in 1514 61 jaar oud en is dus ca. 1453 geboren;zijn vader zou dan ca. 1425 het levenslicht hebben aanschouwd en zijn grootvader ca. 1395/1400.
