Later verhuisd, 16 juli 1951, naar de Betje Wolffstraat 80 te Den Haag en werkzaam als ambtenaar bij het ministerie van Wederopbouw en Volkshuisvesting in Den Haag. M.i.v. 1 juli 1946 aangesteld bij het Ministerie van Openbare Werken en Wederopbouw (het latere Ministerie van Volkshuisvesting en Ruimtelijke Ordening) aan de Van Alkemadelaan (barakken) in Den Haag, in de Groep Middelbaar Administratief Personeel. Benoemt tot commies op 30 mei1950, bij overlijden referendaris.
Johan (Hans, Han) was zijn enig kind (gdoopt in de Grote kerk te Vlaardingen)
Begraven op kerkhof Westduin te Den Haag (Kijkduin).

HISTORISCHE CONTEXT
1890 - 1948. Koningin Wilhelmina (31.08.1880 - 28.11.1962). Dochter van koning Willem III; van 1890 tot 06.09.1898 washaar moeder over haar regentes; zij huwde op 07.02.1901 met hertog Hendrik van Mecklenburg-Schwerin (19.04.1876 -03.07.1934), zoon van groothertog Friedrich Franz II van Mecklenburg-Schwerin en Marie van Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt); uitdit huwelijk werd één kind geboren, Juliana. Na de Duitse inval in Nederland op 10.05.1940 (waardoor ons land betrokkenwerd bij de Tweede Wereldoorlog [1939-1945]) moest zij met tegenzin uitwijken naar Londen; aldaar werd zij, gesteunddoor haar schoonzoon prins Bernhard, het symbool en de inspiratie voor het Nederlandse verzet tegen de Duitse bezetting.
