Den 6 April zijn ten Huwlijk ingetekent Jan Engberts weduwnaar van de IJhorst, met Aaltje Alberts Jonge Dogter van Zuidwolde en zijn na drie onverhinderde huwlijks proclamatien in den egt verbonden den 7en Meij.

- 7 April 1772 Vader Engbert Jans is overleden. Jan Engberts maakt een afkoopregeling met zijn volle zusters Aaltje en Janna: zij krijgen elk 100 gulden. Moeder Aaltje Hendriks behoudt met zoon Engbert Jans de goederen. Na haar overlijden krijgen de dochters de lijfsgoederen en Jan Engberts de rest.
- 30 september 1773 Testament Albertje Alberts (dv Albert Alberts en Berentje Daniels). Ze is zwak van lichaam maar bij machte testament op te maken. Haar echtgenoot Jan Engberts is enige echtgenaam. Voorbehoud is wanneer haar moeder haar legitime portie kan verkrijgen. In plaats van de legitime portie kan haar moeder ook kleren en lijfstoebehoren krijgen.
- 2 september 1775 contract tussen Albert Schutten en echtgenote Grietje Geerts enerzijds en kinderen Jan Engberts en Aaltje Alberts (vermeld in acte 1796)
- 12 maart 1796 Grietje Geerts (weduwe Albert Schutten) wil verduidelijking m.b.t. contract. Ze wil dat lijfstoebehoren verdeeld worden tussen de dochters Geesje en Aaltje. In een 2e contract op dezelfde datum wordt afgesproken dat Grietje Geerts levenslang bij Jan en Aaltje in de kost gaat en daarvoor jaarlijks een kostgeld van 65 gulden betaalt.
