Joost Hendriksz Monster, weerbaar man te Groot-Cromstrijen te
landewaert, heeft één roer (wapen). (Particulier archief 1672). Hij
ontving in 1672 f.5.15.0 van 't Gemeneland voor het maken van een Dam
bij Jan Giellen. Op 8.6.1673 nam hij de besteding aan van het
schoonmaken van de watering tot de Schenkeldijck om f.1.4.0. en de
westerse helft om f.1.6.0. Op 11.6.1677 nam hij de besteding aan van het
schoonmaken van de watering tot de deur aan de heul in de
Volgerlantsewegh om f.1.14.0. aan de westwaertse helft. (Arch. Polder
Groot Cromstrijen 1672, 1673, en 1677).
