Notes about Jan Claesz Croock

Jan Croock, kapitein van het oorlogsschip Het Wapen van Alkmaar, aan de Raad van State om de uitgeloofde beloning van f 6000,-- voor zich en zijn bemanning te mogen ontvangen wegens overmeestering van een Engelse brander in 1673. (Rekest uit 1676).
Order, gegeven door De Ruyter aan boord van de "Zeven Provinciën", 17 juli 1674, betrekking hebbend op de onderneming tegen Martinique
De order is gedateerd 17 juli 1674 en ondertekend door Michiel A. de Ruyter. Deze geeft opdracht aan kapitein Jan Croock om drie luitenants en honderd matrozen te voorzien van snaphanen, musketten, houwers, pieken, pistolen en enterbijlen en ze klaar te maken voor de landing. Ook op microfilm
