Het verkochte pakhuis c.a. is door Gerrit verkregen voor de helft uit de erfenis van zijn vader Gijsbert Krook en van grootmoeder Hendrikje van Veen. De andere helft van Anthonie Pel, voermansknecht, echtgenoot van Maartje Krook, zuster van zijn vader.
Gerrit woonde in de Houttilstraat Wk.B30 te Alkmaar.
