Angela: Oom Willem woonde in de Cerenstraat, had een schildersbedrijf met knechten, was getrouwd met tante Jeanette. Hij zong in het Jozefkoor van de Jozefkerk, en stierf tijdens een 10.00 mis, 48 jaar oud. Jeanette heeft het overlijden niet kunnen verwerken, bovendien werd ze waarschijnlijk beduveld door een meesterknecht die de bedrijfsvoering had overgenomen. Ze is in 1931 verdronken in de Singel, niemand weet hoe ze te water is geraakt, maar Anna Knibbeler-Boumans, die aan de Seeligsingel woonde, had die nacht een plons gehoord en men denkt dat Jeanette van de brug is gesprongen.
Willem en Jeanette hadden vier kinderen: Nel, Netty, Rietje en Wim, die in het Roomsche Burgerweeshuis terechtkwamen (periode 1931-1939). Dit weeshuis was gevestigd in het huis Ocrum aan de St. Janstraat te Breda. Een verslag over het verblijf in het weesheuis is te vinden in jaarboek 1996 van de Geschied- en Oudheidkundige Kring Breda e.o. de Oranjeboom (Valks-Knibbeler, P.E.J. Herinneringen aan het Roomsche Burgerweeshuis, 1931-1939, pag: 117-140). Foto's van de vier kinderen zijn te vinden via het Stadsarchief Breda.
