Angela: Oom Toon heeft de smederij in de Terheijdenstraat overgenomen van zijn vader. Kinderen: Tonnie, Lambert, Bep en Willem. Papa Frits liep iedere zondag naar oom Toon in het Wilhelminapark voor een kopje koffie. Daarna liep hij naar Antoon aan het Schoolakkerplein en daar kreeg hij een borreltje. Vervolgens liep hij naar John of Gérard, die door Antoon al telefonisch gewaarschuwd waren om te zorgen dat Frits niet teveel borreltjes zou krijgen.
Toen Toon jonger was zong hij mee in het Bredasch Mannenkoor aan de Haven ergens.
