Hillegersberg 11 feb. 1929, d. van Marinus Bertus Suvaal, sloepenbouwer, later modelbouwer bij het Instituut van scheepvaart en luchtvaart te Rotterdam, en Pieternella van Wijk, Enterstraat 162, Rijssen.

Wilhelmus Jacobus was oorspronkelijk onderwijzer, later hoofdonderwijzer bij het lager onderwijs achtereenvolgens in Zwammerdam, Boskoop en Rijssen. Werd in 1968 leraar aan een mavo-school in de vakken Nederlands, handelskennis en scheikunde. Is in het bezit van de onderwijzersakte, de akte hoofdonderwijzer, voorts de akten handenarbeid, handelskennis en handtekenen lager onderwijs.
