    "Na het overlijden van Philip Jacob II in 1688 verkreeg zijn dochter Anna Magdalena de baronie van Asperen, aanvankelijk voor de helft met haar zuster Marie Cornelia, maar na haar overlijden in 1714 geheel. Hun oudere broer Philip Jacob II was al in 1686 overleden. Bij uiterste wildbeschikking liet zij Asperen na aan haar neef Philip Jacob V, de zoon van Philip Jacob IV."
