Notes about Eleonora de Medici

Eleonora (Florence, 1 maart 1567 – Cavriana, 9 september 1611) was prinses van Toscane. Ze was een dochter van groothertog Francesco I de' Medici en Johanna van Oostenrijk.

Op 29 april 1584 huwde ze in Mantua met Vincenzo Gonzaga, de latere hertog van Mantua en Monferrato, die eerder gehuwd was deweest met Margherita Farnese, dochter van Alessandro, hertog van Parma. Uit het huwelijk met Vincenzo werden zes kinderen geboren:
