    "LA DETTE FATALE - Une vieille fille tue sa débitrice d'un coup de révolver et se suicide - Saint-Lô, 23 août - Dépêche particulière du "Matin". - Le parquet de Coutances s'est transporté hier à Mobecq, petite commune qui vient d'être le théâtre d'un drame sanglant. Mme veuve Couillard, cinquante-deux ans, s'était rendue chez Mlle Adèle Frémont, soixante trois ans, demeurant près de la halte d'Angoville-sur-Ay, afin de lui demander un délai pour une dette. Après une âpre discussion, la vieille demoiselle, furieuse d'apprendre que Mme Couillard ne pouvait pas la payer, s'empara d'un revolver et en tira une balle à bout portant au coeur de sa débitrice, qui tomba raide morte. Effrayée, Mlle Frémont retourna son arme contre elle et se logea une balle dans la tête. La mort fut instantanée. La fille de Mme Couillard, ne voyant pas revenir sa mère, se rendit au domicile de Mlle Frémont et découvrit les deux cadavres. La justice s'est bornée à faire les constatations d'usage." La discussion dut être très violente, car Mlle Frémont, saississant brusquement un révolver, fit feu, par cinq fois, sur Mme Couillard qui, frappée en plein coeur, fut tuée net. Effrayée par son crime, Mlle Frémont retourna ensuite son arme contre elle-même, et se suicida en se tirant une balle dans la tête. C'est la fille de Mme Couillard qui, en cherchant sa mère, découvrit les deux cadavres. Le parquet de Coutances s'est transporté sur les lieux." ("LE TEMPS", 23 août 1913)
