2.) M.M. war Witwe des Heinrich Köppen bei Heirat mit Hermann Hoffmann, Witwer der Elisabeth Benninghoff.
Mutter Christina ist bei Heirat mit H.H. persönlich anwesend, laut Eintrag auf der Urkunde.

3.)M.führte in Duisburg-Baustr.38 die Schankwirtschaft der Mutter weiter .
Nach Hermann Hoffmanns Tod ging sie mit 5 ihrer jüngeren Kinder zu Verwandten in die Schweiz und führte dort erfolgreich in Lausanne/Kanton Waadt eine Hotelpension in der Rue de L`Ancienne Douane, zumindest bis 1916, laut Lausanner Eintrag über Wegzug nach D.

4.) Sterbeurkunde im Stadtarchiv Duisburg nicht vorhanden. Todesursache laut mündlicher Überlieferung war Schwindsucht, also TBC. Wahrscheinlich verstarb sie in Meiderich oder Homberg.
