WILLIAMSPORT SUN GAZETTE APRIL 3, 2015 Charlotte A. Reese Charlotte A. Reese, 68, of Hughesville, died Thursday, April 2, 2015, at her home. Born March 17, 1947 in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Bruce D. and Effie P. Poust Reese. Charlotte was a graduate of Hughesville High School, Class of 1966. She was employed at Brodart’s, Williamsport, for 41 years, before retiring in 2011. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Hughesville, and a former member of the Williamsport Business Women. Charlotte was an avid bowler who was inducted into the bowling hall of fame. She also loved flowers, gardening, working on the family farm, and fishing in Canada. Surviving are two sisters, Shirley M. Reese, and Joyce E. (Craig) Shaffer, both of Hughesville; two brothers, David L. (Chao Hua) Reese of Hughesville, and Oliver (Nancy) Avery of Muncy. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water Street, Hughesville, with Rev. Cinda J. Brucker officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Hughesville.
