Alexander Minor Snyder married Charlotte Cross of Wetzel County, WV on 2/15/1866. (What is interesting here is that I had someone in WV do a lookup on the census & in 1860, Charlotte Cross was living with Alexander & Eva Minor, along with a Jacob Minor (laborer, 21 years old). Weird, isn't it? I take it that Alexander was visiting his grandparents, met her & eventually married her-don't know for sure, but that is my guess).

      Alexander (b. 12/6/1846, d. 7/20/1942), Charlotte (b. 7/27/1847, d. 11/27/1925). They moved to Iowa & had 7 children: Eva May (b. 5/22/1867, d. 1946), John Franklin (b. 2/26/1869, d. 1952), Frances Emma (b. 5/17/1871), Jacob William (b. 1/2/1874), Celia (12/13/1876, d ), Minnie Manerva (b. 1/29/1881, d. 1956) & Omer (b. 8/12/1885, d. 12/16/1890). After 1867, they lived in Modale, Harrison County, Iowa.
