    Hello,

This is what I believe to be your line back from Elisha Welborn/Sarah

Aaron Welborn born 13 Oct 1760 Rowan Co., NC m. about 1782 to Elizabeth
Younger b. Mar 10, 1762 Rowan Co., NC and was the daughter of Anna Nash
    and
James Younger. Elizabeth died Jul 11, 1836 Anderson Co., SC. Aaron died
Oct 6, 1843 Anderson Co., SC.

They lived in Old 96 District of Pendleton District . Now known as
    Anderson Co., SC.

    Aaron Rev War

Both Aaron and his brother James Welborn had early landgrants in SC as
    did
my Welborns who were 1st cousins.
Aaron's land according to Gene Welborn and The History Book of Anderson
    SC
was East of Old West Pelzer School House. Mrs. Gillette gave me my info
    back in the 1960's.

    Children
    1. James Welborn b. 1784 m. Mrs Elizabeth Cobb and d. in Jackson Co., GA.
    I have his estate.
    2.Isabelle "Ibie" Welborn born c. 1787 (I think she married a Duckworth
    I
    just found her line)
    3. Annie Welborn b. 1780 m. Jacob Duckworth b. Mar 21, 1755. Both
    buried
at Hopewell Bap Cem Anderson SC Jacob Captain in NC REV WAR
    4. Thomas Welborn Jul 11, 1789 m. Mary "Polly" Martin ( one of the
children in the 1850 census of Elisha and Sarah in Rabun Co., GA is named
Martin. Sarah may have been a sister to Mary. This is just a thought to
work on)Anderson Co., SC is full of Welborns from Thomas and Polly. His
    will is there.
    5. Ruth Welborn b. 1792 m. William Duckworth b. Nov 13, 1784 d. 1858 in
    Ashley Co., AR.
They had a Pleasant Duckworth (your Pleasant York- so this is also a good
    Welborn name too) b. Jul 27 1822
6 Elisha b. 1793 or so. Went to Rabun Co., GA
    7. Aaron Welborn , jr. b. 1796 Anderson Co
He also lived in Jackson Co., GA in 1840 census.
    8. William Welborn b. 1800 lived in SC 1840 census Jackson Co.GA died in
    MS
His wife was Sarah Bryant who is kin to my husbands family thru Needham
    Bryant of GA
William died in MS He was there by 1842 when his Sarah was born in MS
    9. Gideon Welborn b. 1803 lived in Walton Co., GA will there
    10. Younger Welborn b. 1805 went to MS m. Elizabeth Bryant sister of
Sarah. They were in MS by 1837 when their daughter Keziah was born

These are who I think are the correct parents for the Rabun Co., GA line.

Aaron b. Oct 13, 1760 son of James Welborn, SR born Aug 18, 1736 St
    George
Parrish Baltimore Co., MD to William Welborn, SR/Ann Crabtree. James
married Mary Isabelle Teague the daughter of Moses Teague/Elizabeth
    Loftin
who ran a ferry across the river in Old Frederick Co., VA in 1730's.
    James
and Isabelle were married by 1756 probably in NC .

William Welborn , Jr. born in Chester Co., PA parents Edward and
    Elizabeth
Mitchell Wilbourn. The will of Edward is in Baltimore Co., MD.

Maybe you can find the court papers to prove the above. Since it is a
lateral line to mine I have mainly the wills etc but no bible records for
    your Elisha.

Gene Welborn of Greenville SC has a good book for $30 on this line. It
    is
based on Mrs. Gillette's work but he kills off Elisha in 1816. Don't
    know
why. He doesn't either. But I am sure this is correct as all his
    brothers
were around him and came about the same time to GA.
Ann Gahan also has a good book on this line of James Welborn /Isabelle
Teague. I do not have hers but she told me it is over 700 pages long and
    is
    about $80
