Robert Steele was the son of Rollie and Cora(Baker) Steele, who moved to the Buffalo Center area from Alden, Iowa and from there to the Lakota area.
Esther was the daughter of John R. and Rena(Williams)Johnson who moved to Lakota from Kamrar, Iowa in 1911, to the farm place on which Esther has always resided.
Robert and Esther were married and are the parents of a daughter, Rena, who is secretary at Lakota School.
Esther;s sister, Atta Johnson lived on the home farm place with Robert,Esther, and Rena, until her death in 1974. Robert passed away in 1980.
