Notes about Gustavus Adolphus Calvin

My name is John Calvin Peters, Jr. and I am the gr.gr. gr. grandson of Robert Calvin and Juliana Briggs Calvin.......I made this connection through the rootsweb site! I knew of Robert Calvin and his wife, who I thought was named Julia.......you have done a great deal of work and are to be commended......are you the primary force behind this work? It would be a pleasure to hear from you. I live in Altoona, PA. My gr. gr. grandfather, Josephus Calvin, came here after the Civil War and settled in Hollidaysburg, PA. He had a brother named Gustavus who served with him in the same military unit. Best wishes!

Per the US Census of 1880, Gustavis Calvin, lived with his family in Coitsville, Mahoning, OH. His occupation was listed as "Blacksmith".
