    "Dirk Andries Ploeger (Dick) born December 1, 1943.
    Passes away suddenly April 13, 2001. Much loved and sadly missed by many. Dirk will be remembered with love by his sisters Josie (Gordon) and Alma (Henk), his nephews Peter Miles and Troy, niece Sita and lady friend Kitty. Dick was a hard working and dedicated man with many interests. He worked long hours in his "Dick's Appliances" repair shop in West Vancouver. He was a dedicated member of the Lions Club and volunteered many hours of his precious time. The Ham Radio Club and the Fuchsia and Begonia Garden Club were also some of his special interests. An outside gathering to celebrate Dick's life will be held May 20, 2001 2.00 p.m. at 740 East 8th Street, North Vancouver. Donations may be made to the Howe Sound Lions Club or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. FISRT MEMORIAL 980-3451"
