Notes about Jacob Eriksz.

Werd in 1567 verbannen in verband met het aanhangen van de Reformatie en is naar Emden (Oost-Friesland) gevlucht (zie Brandt - Historie van Enkhuizen- 1666 blz. 100) Brandt, Hist. Enk. Dl. I blz. 81 e.v. meldt over de "Aenslag van de Gelderschen" dat 22-6-1537 " seker borger genaemt Erik in de Bok" .. naar het huis ging van "Jan Groot Albert; deze was toen oudt burgermeester en hadt sijn dochter aen Eriks soon ten huwlyk gegeven". Idem, blz. 135: " Jacob Eriksz en Andries Eriksz huren 1562 timmerwerven aan de Zuiderhaven, vlucht uit Enkhuizen" idem, blz. 163: "Jacob Eriksz geseit in de Bok na de omwenteling in 1572 burgermeester (van Enkhuizen)" Parenteel - deel XXIII - blz. 250: Jacob Eriksz voorn. was anno 1572 den 10 juni aanleider van den derden troup Borgers, die van 't Zuyder Spuy naar 't Stadthuys marcheerden om Enchuysen van d'Albanische tyrannie te verlossen gelijk Meteren seght". Zijn broer Adriaen Eriksz Bok wordt genoemd als "kapiteyn in de slag tegen Bossu" 1573 (zie Deel I blz. 203)
