July 12, 1851, at McDonough, N.Y.; m. Clementine Kellogg, June 12, 1878, at Elizabeth, N. J. Mr. CORBIN was educated at Washington, D.D., at Oxford Academy, at Cornell University, and at the Columbia Law School; was admitted to practice law in New York in 1872, and in New Jersey in 1874. He has lived in Elizabeth, N.J., since 1870, and has carried on the practice of law in Jersey City. He is one of the best known and successful lawyers in that state. He is the author of "CORBIN's Law Forms," published 1882. He published editions of New Jersey corporation laws in 1881 and since. He served in the New Jersey legislature in 1885, 1886, and 1887; was on the commission to revise the laws of New Jersey; on the Gettysburg State Monument Commission; and counsel to the senate investigating committee in 1889 and 1895. He has recently been made president of the New Jersey Title Guarantee & Trust Co., a bank of Jersey City. He is a leading member of the Presbyterian Church of Elizabeth."
