urk. 1297-1314, 1324 tot, zu ihrer Ehe mit Dietrich II. von Volmestein berichtet der Geschichtsschreiber der Grafen von der Mark, Levold von Northof, dass Gostie am 22.6.1297 auf dem Heimwege vom Kloster Fröndenberg zu ihrem Elternhaus in Drensteinfurt vom Ritter Bernhard Bitter überfallen und geraubt worden sei, und zwar mit der Absicht, sie seinem Bruder Engelbert zur Frau zu geben. Ihr Vater mit der Unterstützung des Ritters Hermann II. von Lüdinghausen kann sie befreien und sie wenig später Dietrich II. von Volmestein als Frau zuführen.
