Soon Wilhm na dat 7 dagen aan de kinder pocken gelegen hadde ende nu 3½ jaar out was, ooverleden, komende sonder traanen ende diepste droefheijt mijner ziele niet bedenken veel weijniger met mijn penne beschrijven, de groote deugt en vromigheijd soo sich van aanvang bij hem vertoonde, `t welk dan ook onse herten soo seer in Lijfde tegens hem geneigt hadde, dat sulx alle de boovenstaande thijn kinderen quam te oovertreffen, bevindende sich sulx niet alleene bij onse ende sijne twee gesusteren maar ook alle die oijt met hem quamen om te gaan, sijn Laatste woorden 4 a 5 uuren voor sijnen doodt waaren "Nu sterven en bij broer (meiinende onsen Anthoni) komen in den Hemel", is op Den 19 bij de anderen 2 in de kerk begraven (Ecal 3017, 229).
