Elleboog 10 aan de Vest 207 bezig waren een muur af te bikken. Toen zij hooger op moesten zijn, legden zij planken op schragen, waarop zij ladders plaatsen, waarna zij hun arbeid voortzetten. Kort nadien begonnen de planken te schuiven en rolden zij 3 1/2 meter naar beneden. Op last van Dr. Koopman zijn beiden per ziekenauto naar het gemeente ziekenhuis overgebracht, waar bleek, dat Lengton zijn linkerhiel gebroken en de rechter gekneusd was; de Visscher had geen letsel. Het ongeval is aan eigen onvoorzichtigheid te wijten.
