John and Mary had three children, all christened in Hampstead Norris [Hampstead Norreys], Berkshire, England. Mary HYSSIE (1724), John HYSSIE (1726) and William HIZZY (1734) our direct ancestor who married Mary GOLDING. This information was also sighted by Stan Hissey in May 2006 from the actual transcripts in Hampstead Norreys Parish records. who advised 'there were many Hisseys in the Beedon index prior to 1699'.

Hampstead Norreys is the adjoining Parish to Beedon, and the villages are only a couple of miles apart.
