Notes about William Hyssie

In Jan 2006 Rae Williams who has been researching this line for 'The Ezzy Family Newsletter' since July 1986 advised that our Hissey's DO NOT come from Longworth and that 'John Hissey who married Mary Tucker was of Beedon (not Longworth) (from Memory, Rae believes his birthplace was recorded in the Bishop's Transcripts of their marriage) and christened in 1699 to William (died 1735) and Mary (nee Harris died 1731) who married in 1693' and that William was the son of John (who died 1715) that was married secondly to Anne Field. However, Rae is of the opinion that William was the son of John's first wife and NOT Anne Field.
