Notes about John Roberts

John ROBERTS buried his 17 year old son William early in February 1850 and married Lucy BAYLIS two months later. So Lucy's ready made family consisted of Robert Joseph, a young man of 20 years, Maria 11 and George 9, all of whom survied and out-lived their father and step-mother. John ROBERTS is buried with his parents at St.Matthew's Windsor NSW. Although the Burial Register lists him as 'pauper' this is not correct, as his Will divided an estate of several hundred pounds between his three surviving children.
