Notes about John Marion Irby

John and Katie used to run the Orange Cup. In the 40's it was a grocery store.

In the winter months you could find men gathered around the pot belly stove eating crackers and cheese while warming themselves.

Even through times past, the locals still refer to the corner where the Kaufman Highway and 175 met as the Orange Cup.

We have death certificate and Katie's tombstone.
