Frances was Secretary to the President of the American News Co., N. Y., N. Y. She was Secretary to five (5) General Managers (C.E.O.) of the General Electric Company, Somersworth, N. H. for thirty (30) years.

Frances lived in Dover, Hew Hampshire with her husband Frank Fioto.

Frances E. Fioto, of Stark Avenue, Dover, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel, N.J.

Born and educated in New York City, she was an executive secretary to Michael A. Morrissey, president of the American News Company and its subsidiary, the Union News Company, a national distributor of books and magazines.

Since residing in New Hampshire, she was executive secretary to S. Judson Dunaway of the Judson Dunaway Corporation of Dover, now part of Proctor and Gamble. She later joined the General Electric Company and is a retiree of General Electric Meter Department of Somersworth, where she served as executive secretary to the first five general managers.

She was a charter member and secretary of the Quota Club of Dover, a member of the National Secretaries Association, a past member of Cocheco Country Club and a member of the Active Retirement Association of Durham.

She enjoyed dancing, playing bridge, golf and tennis.
