Blanche Evelyn Eichelberger

Blanche Evelyn Eichelberger, passed away at the age of 97 years, 10 months, 25 days on Nov. 5, 2007, at the Crowley County Nursing Center where she had lived for the last two-and-a-half years. Blanche was born Dec. 11, 1909, to Earl Desmond Wisner and Estella Amelia Elwood Wisner, in Washington, Kan. On Nov. 20, 1929, Blanche married Shields Elvin Eichelberger in Pueblo, Colo. To this union three children were born, Bunnie Larrew, Wiley, Colo., Freda (Sherman) Proaps, Crowley, Colo., Garald (Pam) Eichelberger, Ordway, Colo. Eight grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, Fowler United Methodist Church. Griffy Family Funeral Home in Fowler is in charge of arrangements.
