Notes about Kenneth Kenny Koops

Kenneth Koops

November 14, 1931 - February 15, 2012

Kenneth Koops went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 15, 2012, he was 80 years old. His family loved him dearly and will miss him very much. We are comforted knowing he is with Jesus. Kenny will be remembered for his love of family and fun; his laughter still rings in our ears. Dad's choice to live with his sweetheart in a memory care facility is a tremendous example of his loving faithfulness to his bride.

Kenny married his sweetheart, Arlene Danielson from South Dakota, on October 7, 1951. This past October they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The Lord blessed them with 5 children, 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Kenny opened up a Service Station in Sioux Center, Iowa when they were first married. In 1958 the family moved to Southern California where he worked for Bill Verhoeven's service station. Later he became a tire salesman for Lord Tire in Bellflower.
